Training
We offer industry recognised courses with highly experienced trainers through a Nationwide network of training centres including Dublin, Waterford, Cork, Limerick and Galway.
- Manual Handling: This training gives employees the skills to safely undertake any lifting, pulling, pushing or moving of heavy items, reducing their risk of injury.
- Fire Marshal Training: This course provides delegates with the necessary knowledge and understanding required to competently undertake the role of fire warden / fire marshal in the event of an emergency in order to manage fire risk and aid safe evacuation.
- Working at Height: Covers the essential points (current legislation, regulations and guidance) for those working at height.
- IPAF (Single) Mobile Vertical (3a, 3a+): This industry leading course will provide delegates with the knowledge and practical skills to safely operate powered access equipment. This IPAF Operator course with practical training session and assessment covers one powered access product – Mobile Vertical (3a).
- IPAF (Single) Mobile Boom (3b, 3b+): This IPAF Operator course with practical training session and assessment covers one powered access product – Mobile Boom (3b).
- Static Vertical (1a): This course will train an operator to prepare and safely operate static vertical personnel platforms.
- Static Boom (1b, 1b+): This IPAF Operator course with practical training session and assessment covers one powered access product – Static Boom (1b).
- Push Around Vertical (PAV): This IPAF Operator course with practical training session and assessment covers Push Around Vertical (PAV) platforms. Push Around Verticals are essentially small, simple static vertical machines with no mechanical drive and are physically pushed around.
- Special: These are any Type 2 machines (travelling with work platform elevated, controlled from the base) and specialist MEWPs. They require specific training during the MEWP Operator Training Course owing to their unique and often bespoke construction.
- Harness Use and Inspection: Upon successful completion of this course delegates will be able to demonstrate competence in conducting periodic and interim inspections of harnesses and lanyards for use in a MEWP, and how to maintain associated records of inspections.
